Kari Cao

Chief Executive Officer & Founder

Kari Cao is an emerging leader in maternal health innovation, a healthcare provider, and the founder of RenewRx. With a background that spans clinical medicine, culinary nutrition, and digital health, she brings a uniquely creative and systems-level perspective to solving some of healthcare’s most overlooked challenges.

As both a clinician and a mother, Kari deeply understands the burnout and gaps that exist in traditional prenatal care. She is passionate about leveraging technology and culinary science to deliver proactive, empowering care models that work in real-world clinical settings.

At RenewRx, Kari leads the development of a tech-enabled platform that blends AI-powered meal tracking, remote monitoring, and reimbursed precision coaching to transform prenatal care into an engaging and scalable experience—for both patients and providers.

She is a 2025 keynote speaker for the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and has been featured in multiple health tech and startup innovation panels, recognized for her leadership at the intersection of food, medicine, and maternal care.

Kelly Carter

Chief Success Officer & Co-Founder

Kelly Carter is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner and nationally recognized expert in behavior change and maternal health. As the Chief Success Officer at RenewRx, Kelly leads with a powerful blend of science, empathy, and lived experience—ensuring every woman feels seen, heard, and empowered throughout her pregnancy journey.

With a background in functional nutrition, mindful eating, and health coaching, Kelly has supported thousands of people, navigating the ins and outs of women's health. She is the one of the inspirations behind the One Th1ng Program: Renewed Plate Method, an approach that blends blood sugar science with individualized care and compassionate coaching.

Kelly’s passion lies in closing the gaps in maternal care—especially for those who feel overwhelmed, under-supported, or dismissed by traditional healthcare systems. Under her leadership, RenewRx’s coaching program has scaled into a national model of support, driving clinical outcomes while honoring each woman’s unique story.

As a mother, entrepreneur, and wellness advocate, Kelly brings heart, strategy, and vision to every corner of RenewRx. Her goal is simple but bold: transform the standard of pregnancy care for good.
