Gestational diabetes and blood pressure care, between your visits
You just got news you weren’t expecting. Gestational diabetes. Blood pressure they want to watch. A test that came back high.
You walked out with a list and a next appointment a week or two away.
We are the partner that comes home with you.
Covered by Health First Colorado and most commercial plans.

This is not something you did.
From the day you got pregnant, your body started giving to the baby first. Sugar, blood, oxygen, all of it. That is how it is supposed to work.
Keeping up is hard. Your body has to make far more insulin than it ever has, and your heart is moving far more blood. Sometimes one of those systems cannot keep pace. That is when your care team starts watching closely.

If it’s your blood sugar.
The test you took was about fifty jelly beans’ worth of sugar in five minutes. It is built to push your body as far as it goes.
If it’s your blood pressure.
Your body is doing more work than it ever has. Sometimes the numbers climb, and your doctor will want to see them
If you already had Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes.
Nothing changed about you. Everything changed about how closely it gets watched.
Your doctor is watching your numbers, and whether you need medicine to help.
We take the
day to day.
First we learn you. Your week, your family, what you love to eat, what gets in the way.
Then, together, you pick one thing to work on. Just for this week.
Not a diet. Not a list of foods you cannot have. A way to eat and live that fits the life you already have, and helps your body do what it is trying to do.
That is One Th1ng®.
You and your doctor have a good plan. Then it’s the next morning, you’re looking at it, and you have no idea where to start.
That’s where we come in.
Your doctor sends a referral. Or find us first and we will help you get started.
We get you set up at home. Usually within a few days. We send you what you need and show you how.
Your Care Management Coach stays close. Every week, until you deliver and for twelve weeks after.
Your doctor sees everything we see. One team, one plan. One dashboard integrated into your medical record.
Care between prenatal visits
A real person, in the app.
A nurse or a nutritionist, expert in habit building. The same person every week. She learns your week, your budget, and what you like to eat, then helps you carry out your doctor’s plan.
The app is how you reach her. She is the one who keeps you on track.

“I felt each provider I saw truly took the time to get to know me and create a care plan that was unique to me. That meant the world, to not be just another number.”
— Janae
Home monitoring, simplified.
Your doctor will ask you to check your blood sugar or blood pressure at home. We send you what you need.
Those numbers are not a grade. They are how you learn what your body responds to, and which small changes actually move it.
Real meals, not homework.
Fewer carbs. Less salt. Your Care Management Coach shows you what that looks like at your table. Real food, real brands, real prices. Grocery walk-throughs and meal prep, together. Lists you will use.
“I learned about healthy substitutes and ways to find balance in the things I enjoy eating.” — [name]
No extra appointments.
Everything is virtual. Your kitchen table, your lunch break, wherever you already are.
“I was able to have my meetings at home or in the office. That took away the pressure of extra appointments.”— [Name]
Help with the real stuff.
Food access, transportation, making sense of what you were told. Whatever is in the way.
What changed for moms like you
In our study of moms with gestational diabetes:
Fewer first-time cesarean deliveries.
Fewer newborns needing intensive care.

Is this for me?
- You are a first-time mom, or there is not much hands-on help at home.
- You are managing high blood pressure, diabetes, or a history of anxiety or depression.
- You have concerns about your recovery, your mood, or how feeding is going.
- You want a closer eye on you in the quiet weeks between leaving the hospital and your six-week visit.
How to join
Ask your OB or midwife to send a referral to RenewRx, or sign up here yourself.
It is best to get set up during your third trimester, so your team is ready the moment you deliver. You can also join any time after birth.
You still see your OB. We are with you in the weeks between.
Sign up in under a minute
A real person gets back to you, usually within day or two.
We only ask for your name, email, and phone. Your information stays private and is used only to reach you about the program.
Questions moms ask
Health First Colorado covers it. With commercial insurance it depends on your plan and where you are in your deductible. Many moms have already met theirs by the time they start with us. We will walk you through what to expect before anything begins.
That is the first thing we work on. Not a list of foods you cannot have, but how to eat in a way that fits your life and helps your numbers.
That is your doctor’s call, and it depends on your numbers. Plenty of moms manage without it. Plenty need it, and that is not a failure.
Most moms with gestational diabetes or high blood pressure have healthy babies, especially when someone is watching closely. That is what we are here for.
No. We send you a cuff or a glucometer if you need one, and we work with the Continuious Glucose Monitor (CGM) you already have.
About ten minutes a day for your readings, and a conversation with your Care Management Coach every couple of weeks. Message her in between whenever you need to.* She works around your schedule, not the other way around.
*Your Care Management Coach is available during business hours. For anything urgent, call your doctor’s office or seek emergency care.
You will have one. Your Care Management Coach helps you start again. No judgment, no lectures.
Yes. Protected by federal law, the same as at your doctor’s office.
Call your doctor’s office, or go to the emergency room. We are not urgent care, and we are not the right place for anything that needs medical attention right now.
Your Care Management Coach is there for the day to day habit changes, during business hours. If something in your numbers concerns her, she follows the plan your doctor’s office set up.
